Our loving husband, father, grandpa and friend passed away on September 14, 2013. He spent his last moments next to the love of his life Marlene. Dad was born in Baker, Montana March 31, 1929 (unless you ask the Navy, then he was born on March 21….he was anxious to enlist) to Bessie Lydia Davis and Glen C. Stark. He was the youngest of 9 children. He served as a Seaman 1st class in World War II. He married Marlene Rosenbaum on December 27, 1951. He loved spending time at the family cabin that he built, playing golf, and playing cribbage with close friends. But his favorite past time was reading. He read at least one book a day and loved westerns and science fiction books. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brother and sisters, his son David, 2 grandsons and 1 great grandson. He is survived by his wife Marlene, his sister Cleo, his sons Danny (Sheri) and Gary (Sandy), his favorite daughter Debbi, 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to the Avalon Care Center Staff and Bristol Hospice for taking such great care of our husband and father. At his request their will be a graveside service at Bountiful Cemetery located at 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11:00.
