A true Saint; left her 88 year old mortal body behind on March 30, 2008 after having a stroke. Mom was born to Mary Goff and James Nielsen on February 14, 1920 in South Jordan, Utah. Her family included: Beth, Joseph James, Clarissa, herself, Mary Geneva, Coral, Allen Goff, and Arlean Mae. On the family farm she grew to be wise, strong, humble, and beautiful. She excelled in school, skipping a grade and graduating from Jordan High. Married Hugh Cameron Drommond and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Being a life long member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was Relief Society President for 8 years in the Riverton 1st Ward. Various other callings came her way that she always performed with extra love. &qoute;Hughie&qoute;, her husband, was called &qoute;Mr. MIA&qoute; and mom was &qoute;Mrs. MIA&qoute; when they served together. Great cook, baker, and artistic quilter were only some of her many talents. We are honored to call her mother. Nadine Michael Lynn McKee, Arline late Richard Alan Draper, David Edward Drommond Marjorie Low, Debra late David Snell Cartwright. 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren. Mom truly did endure to the end and provided to us eternal blessings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Bountiful Tabernacle, 51 South Main. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-South Jordan Cemetery.
