Doris Ann Yarbrough Rencher, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother departed this earthy life Saturday February 5th, 2022.
Doris was born May 4th, 1935, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Bud and Katy Yarbrough. She was the youngest of three children and was surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins. She loved her family dearly.
Doris met Horace Rencher while he was stationed at Vance Air Base. They both were speaking at a Stake Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Horace and Doris tied the knot on February 19th, 1954, and she fulfilled her dream of being married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. After moving many times, they finally made their home in Farmington UT.
She was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints her entire life. She served in many leadership and teaching positions in the Church.
Doris’ greatest role in life was as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her quick wit and unconditional love knew no boundaries. Her friends, family, and all who came in contact with her were blessed with her humor and care.
Doris is Survived by her children Cynthia, Jan widow of John Kent (Allan), MaryCatherine (Barry), Mark (Robyn), Lee (Alicia), and Jason (Kit), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, son John Kent, grandson Ryan and husband Horace Rencher.
