Douglas B Christensen

June 4, 1974 — December 12, 2022

Layton

Douglas B. Christensen 48, passed away from a pulmonary embolism unexpectedly in Layton, UT, on Monday, December 12, 2022.

Doug was born in Limestone, Maine on June 4th, 1974, to Bruce P. Christensen and Lorna S. Christensen. As a son of an air force pilot, he lived in several states throughout the country. Eventually settling in Layton, UT, where he graduated from Layton High School in 1993. He went on to attend Weber State University. Later, he became a Hearing Instrument Specialist at My Hearing Centers. Where he worked for the past 11 years.

In 2003, Doug met and married Amber Concoby Leishman. Together, they had two beautiful daughters, Allie (18) and Sunnie (17). His children were his biggest priority in life. He loved to golf, play pickleball, camp, and have game nights. But he loved nothing more than his family. He was the most supporting, caring, and generous person. His bubbly, friendly, and funny personality could light up a room. We are heartbroken and grieving the loss of our much beloved father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He will be forever missed.

Doug is survived by his daughters, Allie and Sunnie; siblings Jayne, Ryan, Aaron, and Sean; parents; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and more friends than can be counted.

We will hold a celebration of life for Doug on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the Rock Chapel, 2455 N Valley View Drive, Layton, UT. All are welcome!
