Douglas D. White 1923-2011

Born March 16, 1923 in Bountiful, Utah to Arthur E. and Catherine Henderson White. Married LaRue Harrison January 8, 1947. Married in the Salt Lake Temple. LaRue died Dec. 29, 1986. Married Mary Moss Alexander Feb. 1, 1989. Graduated from Davis High School 1941. Served during W.W. II in the South Pacific Islands with the Third Marine Division. Was involved in several engagements with the Japanese. Played in the Marine Corp Band. Retired from the Postal service after 30 years of service. Doug was a member of the Beehive Statesman Chorus for several years. Survived by Wife Mary Moss Alexander White, Daughter Claudine Warren (Doug), Sons C. Kevin (Ida), Dean (Laurel), Stanley (Donna), Stepchildren Kent Alexaner (Carolyn), Vickie Chapman (Wes), Patti Rasmussen (Bill), Annett Eiting (Mitch), 18 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by Parents and Brothers, Arthur S. and Charles W. A viewing will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main. Graveside services to follow at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
