Duane Dilworth Call, Sr. passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 of natural causes. He was born May 25, 1926 to A. Alwin and Idonna Nielsen Call, Murray, Utah. Duane served in the U.S. Navy, WWII aboard U.S.S. Intrepid. He served an LDS mission in Northern California. His career was teaching LDS seminary and junior high math. He was a world renowned field-trial dog-trainer.
Duane is survived by children: Duane D. Call, Jr. (Arlene), Roxanne Kelly, Michael M. Call (Colynne), A. Alwyn Call (Shelly), Daniel C. Call (Leesa), Joseph R. Call (Michell), Becky Merkley (Roger); 26 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters:Marilyn Dahle (Kasey), and Carol Jacobson: and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son-in-law Daniel M. Kelly, Great-grandson Dillon Montgomery, and sister Shirley (Carl) Stott.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at the LDS Ward on 4950 South 1950 West, Taylorsville, Utah, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
