DuWayne Edward Atwood, Sr.

DuWayne Edward Atwood, Sr., passed away May 3, 2021. He was born to Albert Alfred Atwood and Ruth Ann Saley Atwood, August 31, 1930 in Los Angeles, California. Married the love of his life, Mary Alice Atwood on February 11, 1950. They spent 71 years together. They lived in Swedetown. He was known as the Swedetown Sheriff or PA Atwood.
He loved fishing and hunting. He is survived by his 6 children: Mary Ann Percival (Darwin), DuWayne E. Atwood, Jr., Lora Castenda, Craig Atwood, Leonard Atwood, and Chris Belt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his sister, Helen Thurman, who love him dearly. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Atwood, father Albert Alfred Atwood, brother Albert Lewis Atwood, 3 grandsons: Troy Ward, Trevor Moser and Terry Moser.   He was truly loved and will be truly missed by many.
