Earl Brown Dudding 1925-2011
Born, April 19th, 1925 in Washington, DC, Earl Brown Dudding passed away peacefully January 7th, 2011 in Bountiful, UT. He was 85. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His favorite service to the church was playing the organ for services, which he has done for over fifty-five consecutive years. He loved music. He was one of the founders of the Choral Arts Society of UT. He served with the Army in both WWII and the Korean War. He was a dear husband, dad and friend.
Earl is survived by his wife, Laura VeOla Brown from Grantsville, UT, his four children, L. Marie Garrabrants of Centerville, UT; David L. Dudding of Easton, MD; Dorothy R. Green of Bountiful, UT; and Karen K. Pedersen of Nokomis, FL and their spouses as well as 18 grandchildren and 7 1/2 great grandchildren, his youngest sister, Mary Vandomelen of Alexandria, VA; his beloved cat, Patches and lots of wonderful extended family members.
Services will be held to honor Earl’s life on Tuesday, January 11th at his old ward building located at 790 West 1500 South; Woods Cross, UT at 12:00 pm. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main., and Tuesday from 10:45 am until 11:45 am in the Relief Society Room at the church prior to services. Interment will be at Timpanogos Memorial Gardens, 1000 N. 400 E. in Orem, UT. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
