Earl Tanner Oliverson 1927 ~ 2011

Layton – Earl Tanner Oliverson passed away 3 January 2011. Earl was born 15 March 1927 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Levi Earl Oliverson and Nettie Viola Tanner. Served in the Navy in World War II, retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1987. Married 4 August 1949 in the Logan Temple to Melba Gottfredson. Served in the LDS Church as a Scout Leader, High Priest, Ward Clerk, and Stake Missionary as a Seventy. Earl was preceded in death by his son Mark Earl Oliverson. He is survived by his children Joan Ivie, Keith Oliverson (Tawnie), Sheri Allen (Bart), and Tammy Allen (Ralph), 17 Grand-children and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, 8 January 2011 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington where friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. or Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS missionary fund.
