On 10 December 2005, at the age of 91, I was reunited with my loving husband, Munroe, due to complications from old age.
I?m grateful to have lived so long and appreciate so much the love and kindness of my children and those who helped me at the Heritage Center and especially at the Rocky Mountain Care Facility.
I was born in Salt Lake City on 27 July 1914 to Joseph Edward and Ethel Mary Watson Price. I have fond memories of growing up with my two sisters and one brother. Singing with my family which started when I was young and continued throughout my life, in high school plays and then at many funerals. I also sang for many years with the Allegro Chorus.
I married Munroe Ferrell a wonderful and caring companion 7 September 1935. From this marriage we had two children. We all were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple 17 September 1941.
As an active member of the LDS church I enjoyed many callings, played the piano, and singing for my family the ?Bird in the Gilded Cage?.
I am survived by my son Dennis Carol Ferrell and daughter Sharron Don Peay, seven grandchildren, Deborah Mike Pope, Terry Alisha Ferrell, Douglas Michelle Ferrell, Leisa Matt Milton, Jacquline Rod Sexton, Natalie Peay, Page Carl Gardiner, and 20 great-grandchildren. I was proceeded in death by my parents, brother Steve, and sisters Ardell and Leone.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on 14 December 2005 at the Riverside Stake Center, 1100 W. 500 N. Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends my call on 13 December from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and from 10:00-11:45 a.m. at the Riverside Stake Center prior to services.
