Edna Hansen

Edna Larsen Hansen passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Bountiful, Utah She was born February 24, 1918 in Logan, Utah to Niels J. and Kathryn Larsen. She married Wendell W. Hansen on September 7, 1935. Prior to Wendell’s passing in 1990, they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
Survived by her children, Joyce Guarascio (Don) and Beth Maxwell (Zig); 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Lillian) Larsen; and brother-in-law, Howard (LaGene) Hansen.
Family was most important to Edna and she loved having them visit. Family members knew they would always be welcome and often called her home “the Hansen Bed & Breakfast”.
Edna operated the elevator at the Judge Bldg. for many years. She also was employed by Auerbach’s and ZCMI until their closing.
Edna was proud of her Danish heritage, often saying she was made in the USA with 100% Danish parts. We would like to thank the kind and devoted workers at Legacy House for the wonderful care and service they extended to our mom.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where a viewing will be held 12:45 – 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery.
