Edward Allen Sutter born on August 21, 1930 in San Jose, CA, to Christopher P. Sutter and Mary Elizabeth Hawkins, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016, in Bountiful, UT. He resided for the last 17 years with his dear wife, Cleo Wagstaff Sutter. He lived with his beloved wife, Marian McGregor Sutter, in Thousand Oaks, CA, where they raised their family and he practiced dentistry from 1963-1998. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His greatest source of joy was serving the Lord, his family, his friends and his patients. Some of the greatest experiences in his life were serving as a bishop, high counselor, temple worker, teacher and missionary. He was a talented artist and particularly enjoyed sculpting rocks. He was generous, kind, patient, forgiving and hardworking. He had a keen mind and an amazing memory. He valued the relationships he had with so many dear friends. He is survived by his wife Cleo, his children from his first marriage, Krita, Steven (Rebecca), Chris (Sue), Marybeth (Steve) and James, as well as Cleo’s children whom he grew to love as his own. He cherished his 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will welcome friends, Friday, March 4, 2016 from 6:30-8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main St, Bountiful, UT and on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 12:00-12:45 pm at the Woodland Hills Ward, 640 S. 750 E, Bountiful, UT. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LDS Missionary fund.
