Edward Thomas Arrington, Jr. beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away November 8, 2008 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born May 2, 1916 to Edward Thomas and Rebecca Wilson Arrington. He grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High School. He married his sweetheart Edith Elizabeth Doyle on October 9, 1936. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Edith passed away December 8, 1979. He married his loving wife, Eva Halford on September 27, 1980, for time in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ed dedicated his life to taking care of Edith and Eva. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Eva served a 2 year temple mission in St. George, Utah. He was a veteran of WWII. He worked for Garret Freightlines for 37 years. Ed is survived by his wife, Eva; sister, Beverly Dale; children, Ronald Joyce Arrington, Patricia Richard Bullock, Michael Arrington, and Rebecca Stone; step-children, Gene Rita Halford, Marlen Judy Halford, Steven Pam Halford, and Ernest Karla Halford; 25 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, parents and brother, Ted. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Bountiful LDS Tabernacle, 51 South Main, where friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery.
