Edward Roy White

Edward Roy White age 43 passed away on October 15, 2022 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born December 16, 1978 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to David and Shirley White. 

Roy was raised in West Bountiful Utah. In his youth and early adulthood, he was soft spoken, kind hearted, and enjoyed fishing and boating with his family. He was talented with his hands, could fix most things, and enjoyed cooking. By trade he was an excellent electrician and worked for several local companies. 

After he was married he was excited to have two children whom he loved and adored. 

Unfortunately, due to addiction, his life took a drastic change. We know the pain of his suffering was great as he was in and out of treatment programs battling his addiction for many years.

Roy's earthly journey has now ended and we as a family are at peace knowing he is with his Heavenly Father, again able to progress unencumbered by his addiction. We're thankful for those who cared for him during his final days, as well as those that searched diligently for us to let us know of his passing. 

He is survived by his children Tayvin Elswood White and Brynley Grace White; his parents David and Shirley White, his sister April Bingham (Ryan), and brother Brian White (Shellie). He is also survived by many nieces,  nephews, and extended family members.

The family will honor his life in a private service.
