Edwlyn "Eddi" Laver

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend Edwlyn (Eddi) Lou McMain Laver passed away peacefully in Bountiful, Utah on February 7, 2015.  She just celebrated her 88th birthday.  She was born January 25, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William A. and Lillian Falk McMain.  She married Boyd Laver June 27, 1957.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.  
Everyone who knew Eddi enjoyed her sense of humor and loved to spend time visiting her.  She always had good treats for her grandchildren.  She loved fishing, painting, writing stories and poems.  She was dearly loved by all and will be missed!
She is survived by her brother Sid (Judy) McMain; her three children: Lisa (Kevin) Menlove, Lori Laver, Matt (Gail) Laver; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Ruth Young, and brother William A. McMain Jr.  
A viewing will be held at 6:00 – 7:30 PM Tuesday, February 10th at the Bountiful 34th Ward 540 N. 1250 E.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 11th at the Bountiful 34th Ward.  Visitation will be prior to the service at 11:45 – 12:45 PM.  Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery 10600 S. 1700 E.
