Elaine Argyle Gines

Elaine Argyle Gines returned to her Heavenly Father and joined her beloved husband of 74 years on August 1, 2018.

Elaine was born in Woods Cross, Utah to Lucy and Joseph Argyle on July 4, 1923. Elaine married her eternal companion, Ray C. Gines on June 11, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Elaine was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons Bert Afton (Johanna), Keith Argyle (Jolene), Paul Kent (Lynette), and daughter-in-law Connie Gines. She is preceded in death by daughter Joann McNeal, and son Lee Ray Gines. Elaine left a legacy of 19 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Elaine was a beloved member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was dedicated to serve. She was a rare gem that loved everyone she met and they loved her. But she loved her family the most, and they are her lifelong treasure. She will be missed so much by so many.

The family would like to thank the members of the Parrish Heights Ward for many years of amazing friendship and service.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Parrish Heights Ward building, 610 N Rowland Way, Centerville, Utah. Visitation will be held from 9:45 –  10:45 AM prior to the service on Monday, and on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah.
