Elaine Robinson Kammeyer, age 81, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away peacefully February 19, 2019. Born in Salt Lake City to Glen Alonzo Robinson and Elma Willey Call. She attended Weber College and graduated from BYU. She married Robert Ernest Kammeyer, August 12, 1960, in The Salt Lake Temple. She taught school for the Granite School District and worked at Utah Bank and Trust for over 15 years. She served faithfully in various callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elaine and Robert had 5 children, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She loved her family and always made sure we celebrated the holidays. She always had a birthday card ready and never forgot important dates. She loved writing histories about her ancestors and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She served as Captain of Camp Eutaw and Vice President of Davis Heritage Company.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, son Denton, and grandchildren Ty and Khylaln.
Survived by daughters Robin (John) Whittaker, Laurie (David) Evans, Debbie (Mike) Opoulos and son, Kent (Judy) Kammeyer; Grandchildren Jessica Whittaker, Alisa Kemp, NaTasha Lee Kammeyer, Nikki Dee Ahlin, Braiden Kammeyer, Jacob Kammeyer, Rachel Christensen, Collin Kammeyer, Kelsey Kammeyer, Blake Evans, Catherine Evans, Robert Evans, Meghan Evans, Jadea Alpine, Haley Opoulos, McKenzie Opoulos, Shayna Opoulos and Patrick Opoulos; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2019 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
