Elenore Ehlert Fowler

Elenore Ehlert Fowler passed away December 31, 2015 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on April 17, 1925 and raised in Alberta, Canada. She served an LDS mission in Hawaii where she met her future husband, Samuel Richard Fowler. They were married April 8, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Elenore and Sam worked side by side in everything they did in the 54 years of their marriage. The most important things in her life were her family and her testimony of Jesus Christ. She loved raising her children and was a wonderful support to them and her grandchildren. Elenore had many wonderful friends who she loved and treasured. She worked many years teaching in the Relief Society, Gospel Doctrine classes, and the Sunday School.  Elenore enjoyed spending much of her summers at the mountain cabin she built with her husband, Sam. Her love of beautiful things led to her collection of Madame Alexander dolls, paintings and other collectibles.
 
Elenore was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Else Ehlert, all 13 of her siblings, her husband, and one son, Richard Mark. She is survived by her children: Samuel Paul (Kris), Carole Ariotti (Mike), Barbara Johnson (Jesse), William Tracy, and Douglas Matthew (Suzanne), 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Grandma, we love you and miss you dearly!
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Bountiful 11th Ward Chapel, 115 E. Wicker Lane (2000 S. Orchard Drive), Bountiful, Utah at 1:00 p.m. Viewings will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N.
