Elizabeth "Beth" McBride Bridge

Elizabeth “Beth” McBride Bridge peacefully passed away November 18, 2015 at the age of 89. Beth was born July 5, 1926 in Raymond Alberta Canada to Ira Robert McBride and Fannie Woolley, the fourth of six girls.
Beth served an LDS mission to Eastern Canada from 1947 – 1948. She married Malcolm “Mac” Ririe Bridge on April 12, 1950 in the Cardston Alberta Temple and later they migrated to Utah and raised their family. They have 5 children, Sherry Bridge of Bountiful, UT; Mark R. Bridge (Teresa) of Ogden, UT; Louise Bridge of Santaquin, UT; Stewart M. Bridge (Eva Jean) of Provo, UT; Barbara Austill (Jeff) of Douglasville, GA. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Beth had a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She willingly and faithfully served in many callings in her wards and stakes and as a Temple Ordinance worker. She was particularly fond of teaching Relief Society.
Beth enjoyed entertaining and everyone was welcome in her home. She enjoyed doing handwork and loved being with her family.
Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Mac, her parents and her sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Bountiful 43rd Ward, 990 North Chapel Drive. Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Monday 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Brigham City Cemetery.
