Elizabeth May Lane

Elizabeth May Lane, age 87, passed away from natural causes on October 11, 2017, in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by her family.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Anna Devereaux of Manila, UT, Mary Lane, of Boise, ID, Barbara Lane, of Colbert, WA, and Lisa Burns, of Kaysville, UT.  She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Lane, and her grandson, Ben Brimer.  Elizabeth leaves a legacy of 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth was born in Hailey, ID, on October 26, 1929, to Douglas Troeger Knight and Anna May Shaw (Knight).  After attending high school in Hailey, ID, she moved to Boise, Idaho, to attend business college.  She was married February 14, 1949.  She and her family frequently moved, eventually settling in Kaysville, Utah.  She lived there with her daughter, Lisa and her family.

Her children remember her as a fearless, creative, loving and generous mother.  Her family meant the world to her.  Elizabeth was very creative and talented, a farmer, mechanic, seamstress, canner, quilter, and much more.

The viewing is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:45 am, followed by the funeral which is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Gardens Chapel, Kaysville 14th Ward, located at 9 West, 550 South, Kaysville, UT, 84037.
