Beth Treasure

Elizabeth Treasure passed away peacefully at her apartment at The Ellison in Layton, Utah on November 11, 2023, at the age of 86. She was born on January 12^th, 1937 in Downey, Idaho and went by the name, Beth. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Dorthy Bloxham, her husband George Treasure, brothers Pete and Val Bloxham, and her sons Perry and Marty Treasure.

Beth grew up in Downey, Idaho on her parents’ ranch where she helped with all the chores. She married George D. Treasure on October 28, 1955. They have been married for 67 years. They were sealed as a family in the Logan temple on May 20, 1969.

Beth started her family in Malad, Idaho, then later moved to Ogden to try to start a better life for her family. Beth was a devoted mother to her children while they were young and later started buying properties in Ogden and renting them out. This helped them to be able to retire comfortably. She also lived in Roy for 30 years and wintered in Lake Havasu. She lived in Mesquite, Nevada for ten years. The last five years she lived in Layton, Utah and enjoyed being closer to family. In her later years while living in Roy and Mesquite, she enjoyed doing ordinance work in the temple with her husband, Dee.

Beth loved to travel in her motorhome and went on several cruises with her family. She loved to go on walks with her husband and with her little dog, Rad. Animals were always attracted to her because she loved them so much. She also liked to go skiing when she was younger.

Beth was the youngest of four children. She has one sister, Sharon Thorpe, and two brothers, Val and Pete Bloxham.

Beth is survived by her sons, Kurt (Heidi) Treasure, Kim (Cindi) Treasure, and Zan (Kelly) Treasure. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

We would like to thank Envision Hospice, especially Shasta, her nurse, and Haley for their loving care for Beth. Beth truly loved them and would shed a tear every time they came in. Beth was very loved by all her family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Russon Mortuary & Crematory, 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah. A viewing will be held before services from 9:30-10:30 a.m..

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/p/Russon-Mortuary-Crematory-100057447129518/) and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
