Elsie Olson Johnson

On April 3, 2006, Elsie was reunited with her true love, George Willard Johnson, and her three sons, Douglas Johnson, Kipp Johnson and Robert George Johnson, who preceded her in death. We are confident they are experiencing great joy. Elsie was born to Isaac Olson and Vernie Elizabeth Christensen Olson on April 28, 1913 on the Olson Ranch between Moroni and Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete County, Utah. She married George Johnson on June 26, 1933 in Manti, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on December 13, 1949. They lived most of their lives in Round Valley and Nephi, Utah. They served an LDS Mission to Saskatcheewan, Canada. Elsie is survived by her son, Don Byron and Jeannette Johnson of Pierce City, Missouri; her sisters, Nida Neff of Fillmore, California and Velda Lee Reid of Orem, Utah; her grandchildren, Robyn Garrett, Bill Johnson, Elizabeth Hillier, Anna Jorgensen, Eric Johnson, Ben Johnson and Rebekah Johnson, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and twins due in April. She is also survived by three who she considers as her daughters: Louise Johnson, Erma N. Ward, and Judy Ann Peterson, with their families. Funeral services will be held in the Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi, Utah on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
