Biography

Emily Anne Jensen Lowry passed away peacefully on February 4, 2012 at the University of Utah Hospital. She was born July 27, 1982 to Tami and Scott. Emily married her childhood sweetheart, Jeff Lowry, September 23, 2006. Three years later they were blessed with the birth of Weston.
Emily had a love for life and did everything with gusto. Her sense of humor and spunk could turn any event into a giggle-fest, and was always the life of the party. Emily’s love of her family and friends shone through her. She constantly demonstrated acts of kindness, even to strangers. The twinkle in her eyes was a reflection of her spirit.
Emily was a fantastic cook and loved music and watching football.
Emily is survived by her husband, Jeff; her son, Weston; her parents, Tami and Chuck Swanson; her siblings: Anna Jensen, Taylor and Suzett Jensen, David Swanson, Chas and Zula Swanson; and nieces, Addison, Maggie and Tsomo; her mother-in-law, Bobbi Spring; and brother-in-law, Chris Lowry. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her sister, Kelly and her dad, Scott.
Many thanks to the medical teams at U of U Hospital who cared for Emily with compassion and treated her with dignity. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank for Weston’s college fund.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where a viewing will be held 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
