Eric Guerro

Eric Guerro, 44, of West Valley City, Utah unexpectedly passed away on December 5, 2022.
Eric is the son of the late Phillip Thompson Guerro and is survived by his son, EJ Guerro; stepdaughter, Asia Echols; his mother, Alice Sam; stepfather, Darrell Alton Sam; his siblings, Sharon Sam, Sharlyn Sam, and Darrell Sam, Jr.
Eric was born in Gallup, New Mexico on March 14, 1978, and grew up in Rose Park, Utah for the majority of his childhood through his teen years. Eric was a friend to many and touched many lives with his caring personality. Eric was a selfless human being; he never hesitated to help anybody in times of need and took pride in spreading love to his friends and family on any given day whether good or bad – it was always in his nature that people he loved were his priority before himself.
Our Brother, a friend, beloved father, and beloved son– Eric will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1955 West 400 North, Salt Lake City, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N Street, Salt Lake City, Utah to lay our loved one to rest.
