Erin Holland Evans

January 15, 1976 — June 14, 2016

Our lovely girl left this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Erin was born on January 15, 1976 in Bountiful, Utah to Darryl Wayne Sanford and Kimberly Paschal Budd. She was later joined by her three brothers Taylor, Eli and Trace. Erin loved being the big sister and the boss of the house.

Erin spent a lifetime making friends and giving to others. She was extremely smart and had a photographic memory, which she used against us all. She won every trivia game and could quote lines from every movie she had ever seen. Erin was a football and sports fanatic. She was into fantasy football along with March Madness brackets, usually beating everyone. She was the ultimate guys chick and was always up to date on all sports, but mainly football.  She was so entertained by Nancy Grace and court TV was a daily staple.  She couldn’t wait for Shark Week every year.

Erin graduated from Viewmont High in Bountiful after paying for the salaries of at least three teachers with her fines from skipping classes. She still achieved excellent grades. Shortly after high school, she began dating and then married Aaron Seth Evans on September 12, 1997. They bought their first home in Centerville and moved in when they returned from their honeymoon. This house became the daily gathering place for family and tons of friends. Erin freely gave of her space and possessions with only one rule…don’t knock because she didn’t want to get up off the couch.

Seth was transferred to Boise, Idaho for work in 2004. At that time, Erin was working at Alan Frank and Associates as a broadcast accounting specialist handling several national brands. When she sadly gave them her notice because of the move, she was told they didn’t want to lose her. They would set up an office in her new home because of her work ethic and the way she handled her accounts. She loved her job. It was in Boise that they found the house of Erin’s dreams. That house quickly became the new favorite gathering place even though they were 300 miles away. After 12 years of marriage, they welcomed the cutest twins ever, Truman and Harper. What a joyous time for them and she loved being their momma. Unfortunately, after 15 years, Seth and Erin’s story came to an end. She moved back to Utah and has spent the last few years living in Kaysville.

Erin leaves behind her son, Truman Sam, daughter, Harper Ray; parents Darryl and Tracy and Brent and Kim; siblings Taylor, Cheryl, Eli and Trace; her grandma, Phyllis Paschal; step brothers and sisters; loving aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and all the friends she met along the way. She was greeted by Grandpa Wayne, Grandma Dingy, Grandpa Ray, Aunt Gayle, cousin Debbie and second mom Deb Wray.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Monday, June 20th, 2016, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may visit Sunday evening, June 19th, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, June 20th, 11:00 to 11:45. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
