Esther Stevenson Worsley

Esther Stevenson Worsley passed away peacefully at her home on November 15, 2015. She was born to Richard Murland and Emma Alice Stevenson on June 18, 1933. Mom married her high school sweetheart, Leo Lamont Worsley, on May 22, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were dedicated to each other for over 61 years of marriage. Mom was strongly committed to loving and supporting her husband, four children, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Mom loved Friday date night at the movies with dad, traveling the world, a good book, Wednesday shopping day, and spending time with her family. Mom will be remembered for her unwritten recipes, protective nature and unconditional love and support of her family. The family would like to thank mom's caregivers and Adagio Hospice for their loving care. We also would like to express deep appreciation for mom's favorite caregiver, Sharlene, who took such sweet care of mom and made her laugh. Mom was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Robert Stevenson; son, Robert and two grandchildren. She will be missed by her children Jerry (Sharon), Neal, and Sally (Daren) Bangerter; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 at the LDS Chapel, 610 N Rowland Way, Centerville. The family will be pleased to greet friends and family at a viewing on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery.
