Eugene Randall

d. November 22, 2007

Centerville, Utah. Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, Tom Randall passed away peacefully on November 22, 2007 from respiratory complications. Tom was born September 14, 1919 in Centerville, Utah to Alfred and Ada Randall. He graduated from Davis High School where he played many sports and was a member of the 1937 state championship football team. He served in the Philippines during World War II. Tom married Dorothy Manning, later divorced. On June 14, 1947 he married his eternal sweetheart, Lenore Weight, in the Salt Lake Temple. Upon his return from the service, Tom was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company. In 1953 he started Tom Randall Distributing where he had the opportunity to work with his sons. He was active in the LDS church where he served in many capacities, including being the first Bishop of the Centerville Seventh Ward, an ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple, and serving a full-time mission with his wife at the Independence, Missouri Visitors Center. Tom was also active in community service, serving on the Centerville City Council and sponsoring many youth sports teams. Some of his greatest joys were golfing, spending time with his family at their cabin at Bear Lake and watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lenore; children Dennis Joyce, Greg Susan, Marsha Glenn, Fred Debbie, Brad Ruth; daughter-in-law Jolaine, and brothers, Kay, DeWayne, Ronald, Shirley, and Stanley, 33 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Gary and Val, daughter-in-law Jeanie, sister Maxine and brother Elliott. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Centerville South Stake Center, 270 North 300 East. Friends may call Tuesday 6:00-8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main in Bountiful or 10:45-11:45 am at the Stake Center prior to services. Interment in the Centerville City Cemetery. The legacy you have left us will be treasured forever.
