Eulail Peterson Millward, 88, passed away on July 24, 2013 at Barton Creek Assisted Living in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on September 26, 1924 in Taylor, Utah to Swen and LaVon Peterson. She graduated from Weber County High School in 1943.
Eulail married George Eliason Millward on March 15, 1950 in Soda Springs, Idaho. They were happily married for 41 years. Eulail was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the Central Atlantic States Mission. She enjoyed gardening, and loved to have flowers around her. She enjoyed travelling the world with her husband and sister Shirley. She also liked the performing arts and theater, and would often travel to New York or Los Angeles to catch a show.
Eulail was preceded in death by her husband George Millward, her parents Swen and LaVon Peterson and her brother Lamont and sister Shirley. She is survived by her brothers Harold (Doris) Petersen of Phoenix AZ, Donald (Margie) Petersen of Denver, CO, and sister Afton (Steve) Zoumadakis of Salt Lake City, UT, and her three sons, Greg (Liz) Millward of Richland, WA, Mark (Jessica) Millward of Bountiful, UT, and Warren (Tanya) Millward of Layton, UT. Eulail is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. A visitation will be held Monday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, prior to services.
