Evelyn Jensen Davis

Evelyn Jensen Davis, born February 4, 1922 in Spring City, UT to George S. Jensen and Hilda R. Jensen, passed away February 13, 2018 in Bountiful, UT. She married Craig S Davis on September 29, 1950.  They were later sealed in the Bountiful, UT Temple on September 6, 2000. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a proud graduate of Snow College and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed serving in the Primary and Relief Society and was also involved with her daughter’s schools as room mother and in PTA leadership. Family was her life and she was devoted to her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and three “best ever” grandchildren.  She loved supporting them in every way possible. We are grateful she got her wish and was able to stay in the house her husband built for her until her passing. She is survived by her sister Maxine (Lyman) Nelson, brother Frank (Janice) Jensen, daughter Alison (Michael) Sturgeon, three grandchildren Sydney, Davis (Haley), and Abigail Sturgeon. She is preceded in death by her husband, Craig, two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm and Saturday morning 9:45-10:45 am. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
