Fae Loveless Stevenson

Fae Loveless Stevenson passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2023, after battling Alzheimer’s Disease for several years. Fae was born in Provo, Utah on September 18, 1934, to Daphne and George Loveless, the youngest of their 13 children. She graduated from Provo High School in 1952. 
Fae married Robert Lewis on February 12, 1953; they had four children together. Robert was in the United State Air Force, and they traveled extensively through Europe and North America. They later divorced.
While working at the Marion Willey car dealership in Bountiful, Fae met Dean Stevenson. They fell in love and were married in Lihue, Hawaii, on December 11, 1971. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 11, 1976.
Fae loved music, art, and learning new things. She played the piano and took oil painting classes while living in Germany. She loved to travel and explore the world and passed that love on to her children. She made sure her children had music lessons, dance lessons, participated in all kinds of sports, and encouraged them to pursue their education.
Several years ago, she was stricken with Alzheimer’s, and Dean has cared for her lovingly and patiently.
Fae was preceded in death by her son Alan, as well as her parents and twelve siblings. She is survived by her husband, Dean, her children: Mark (Holly) Lewis, Lori (Joe) Plater, Dan (Teri) Lewis; Dean’s children: Shari (Mike)Lowe and Chad (Tara) Stevenson, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the LDS Chapel, 650 East 2150 South, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may visit Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, and Saturday morning 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
