Fancher Martaindale Murray passed away July 3rd into the loving arms of his wife, Pauline (Polly) Wright Murray.  Fancher is one of four children of Ralph Hamlin and Lila Fancher Murray, his siblings being: Wanza, LaRue, and Fay.  Fancher traveled a great deal in his lifetime, having lived in multiple places including, Hawaii, California, Utah, Washington, Alabama, and Massachusetts.  He served in the United States Air Force.  He married his true love in the Logan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on September 21, 1959.  Fancher and Polly raised six children all of whom survive them:  James Frederick (Yuko), David Anthony (Claudia), John William (Rose Marie), Joseph Wright (Holly), Loretta Hansen Au (Alan), and Andrew McGee (Angela).  His wife, Polly preceded him in death April 8, 2007.  Fancher and Polly have 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Together they served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Virginia.  Fancher took his family hiking and camping to the Sierras, to the New York Islands, to the Gulf Stream waters, and to California’s golden coast.  He instilled in them his love for photography, wood working, and family history.
