Fern Greene

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a short bout with ovarian cancer.
Born in Newton, Utah on February 25, 1921 to Alferd and Edna Goodsell. She marred John Lowell Greene in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had just celebrated their 50th anniversary when Lowell passed away.
They lived in River Heights, Utah until 1959 when they moved to Bountiful, Utah. Mom loved to garden and spent countless hours making her home and yard a thing of beauty. She also loved ballroom dancing, traveling, and her callings in the LDS Church.
She is survived by her three daughters: Joie (Mike) Anderton, Sandy (Joe) Woodcox, and Sherien (Ralph) Darley; sister, Gwen Dahle; special friend, Keith Jackson; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Lowell, infant son, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Orchard 1st Ward Chapel, 3707 South 800 West, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Wednesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Logan City Cemetery.
