Fern Franson Jones King
October 5, 1926 – January 19, 2012

Fern Franson Jones King born in Echo, Utah to Alfred Marlow Jones and Annie Katherine Franson. Married Ernest J. King on October 13, 1944, later divorced. She was the beloved mother to six children, Ernest J. King (deceased); Craig J. King (deceased); Diana (Ted) Slay, Clinton; Melloney (Walter) Szarek, Kearns; Corry (Gail) King, Bountiful; Allison (Robert) Stell, Bountiful; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren.
Graduated from BYU in 1965 as a Registered Nurse. She worked for 38 years for Lakeview Hospital as House Supervisor. Served in Primary for 40 years as a teacher and president in Echo and Bountiful. Was a 4-H leader for 38 years. Served 15 years as an ordinance worker at the Bountiful Temple.
Funeral Services and viewing will be held at the Bountiful South Stake House, 1250 S. Main, Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:45 am and funeral at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
