Floy Howe

Floy R. Howe 4/20/1918 – 5/24/2004

Floy R. Howe, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away May 24, 2004 after a short illness. Floy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Horace Bertrum Howe and Amy Jane Holt on April 29, 1918. He graduated from West High School in 1936 and is a veteran of World War II. He worked for over 62 years for the Newspaper Agency Corporation starting as a delivery boy at age 9. He was an active member of the LDS Church. With his wife he served a three year Genealogical Library Mission.

Floy married Beth Mitchell on October 9, 1941 and have been married for 62 years. They have three children, Sandra Steve Lambourne, Lynda David Harbertson, and Wendy Gary Graham. They have 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Dora Harper, Audrey Lee, and brother Noel D. Howe

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake Foothill Stake Center, 1930 South 2100 East. Friends may call that morning from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, Services under the direction of Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary.
