Francis was born in Kittery Maine US Naval Hospital on December 1, 1943.
Francis passed away in Bountiful, Utah May 12, 2021 and is survived by his wife Linda Lou Adamson, her three children, three grandsons and one great grandson.
Francis was raised by a single mother in Maine.
When he graduated from high school, he immediately joined the US Air Force and was a communication officer nationally and internationally and he loved it. He was honorably discharged after six years of service.
He then relocated to the University of Utah in top rated pharmacy school and graduated in 1972. That is when I met him interning at Skaggs Drug Store in Sugarhouse, Utah where I worked and we fell in love. The next year, 1973, he moved to LA to be a pharmacist and it lasted 48 years. He was commended for his work ethic of honest and caring.
I stayed in Bountiful raising my three kids. We stayed together and were blessed this is our 49th year being together.
He loved driving so he drove to Bountiful 30-60 times a year. It was always a celebration when he came. Kids and friends joined us to enjoy this wonderful generous, kind, funny man that God gave to us. He retired in 2017 and came home finally.
The four years he was here he spent hours communicating and talking to so many of the friends he had accumulated in his life, some from childhood. He was an amazing friend to have, he was looked at and respected by many.
He will be missed greatly by us all.
