Francisco Garecjana Salterain passed away in his home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He will be greatly missed and leave a large void in the lives of all who knew him.
Francisco was born January 29, 1931 to Santos and Hilary Salterain. He worked for many years as a shepherd for Jerry Peterson and Jerry’s father. He was a camp tender, taking care of Herders needs and moving sheep. He also worked in the mines in Nevada and for the railroad.
Fransisco married Roberta Elcano in 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Francisco is survived by the following members of his family, Roberta (wife), Puri, Derina, MaLouisa, Alicia and Jose.
He is preceded in death by Hilary, Santos, Victoria, Dominic and Joesue whom are also members of his family.
The family would like to thank Everett Hospice and all the friends and family for their gift of love and friendship. Special thanks to Mallory, R.N., Peggy, Chaplain, Tina and Shannon, Social Workers. A special thanks also to our nieces, Mary Ann (Wilfred) and Lorna Rose (Hoss), and our nephew Steve (Cheryl) for their support through this crisis as well as through this past year of making sure we had our needs taken care of. Thanks to the Keate family and to Gary Wall for their contribution and love.
In lieu of flowers the family asks a donation be made in behalf of Fransisco to Russon Mortuary and Crematory.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Great Falls, Montana.
