Frankie Joy Cluff

July 31, 1935 — July 19, 2022

Frankie Joy Cluff passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022 after battling dementia brought on by isolation during the pandemic. She was born July 31, 1935 in Spring Glen and lived in Latuda, Utah. Her father worked in the coal mines in the area. She lived with her family in the mining camps of Alaska.

She married Leland J. Cluff on December 30, 1983. Joy was a kind person who loved to work in her yard and garden. She enjoyed having dogs in her life. Joy liked to get her hair done, go for drives with her husband, and go camping. They both would grow a large garden, visit their farmer friends in the area and bottle their produce. Canning in the backyard on their patio stove. Everything from vegetables, peaches, pears to tomatoes for their sauces. Always trying to perfect their homemade salsa.

She is preceded in death by her only child, John Tripplet, parents, two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her stepson Mark Cluff, his wife, 3 children, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Hope.

The family wants to thank North Canyon Care Center in Bountiful, Willow Wood Care Center in Holladay and Renew Hospice for the care she received. It was her wish to be cremated and her ashes scattered at a later time.
