Frankie Lynn Davis 1951-2016

Beloved mother, sister, daughter and friend Frankie Davis passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 27, 2016 following a brave battle with cancer.

Frankie was born in Tooele, Utah to Emery and Roma Griffis on April 27, 1951. She had three children: Emery, Robert, and Tami who were her pride and joy. She worked very hard to provide for them and give them the best life she could.

Frankie married her soul mate Bobby Eugene Davis on September 19, 2002. The years that Frankie and Bob spent together were the best days of their lives. All those that knew them said they were a match made in heaven and they loved each other in a way that many envied. They loved to golf, travel, garden, play cards, and spend time with their children and grandchildren.

Frankie was a great friend and loved by all who knew her. She worked loyally at her job as a Quality Assurance Director for over 37 years, where she touched the lives of many people. She was a mentor and inspiration to many and has remained close with many of her co-workers, after retiring.

Frankie was a generous and kind woman. She loved feeding people (a hungry man’s dinner) and would have big dinners that filled her home with laughter and love. Frankie opened her home to all and treated everyone like they were family.

Frankie is preceded in death by the love of her life Bobby Eugene Davis (Husband), Emery Griffis (Father) and Billy Griffis (Brother).

Frankie is survived by, Sons Emery (Jessica) Carter, Robert Carter, and Daughter Tami Carter Pearsall. Mother Roma Torgersen, Sister Kristine (Vic) Kerns, Brother Randy (Sheree) Griffis, Dave Griffis and Allen (De) Davis. Grandchildren: Trenton Frith, Marissa Jeppson, Austin Carter, Haley Carter, Ashlund Lauriski, Mason Pearsall, Vincent Pearsall and Giada Pearsall.

There will be a Celebration of Life open house for family and friends on Saturday, November 5th  from 11 am to 5 pm at Frankie’s home. 1701 South 1100 West in Woods Cross, Utah. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Frankie’s name.
