Freddie Allen Campbell was born July 5, 1933, in Mason City, Iowa, to Richard V Campbell and Francis M Lemon. In his early years, Fred‘s father‘s profession took them from Iowa to California, where he graduated from Napa High.
At the age of 17, he and his friend joined the United States Army in hopes of serving together. While on leave, he met the love of his life, Beverlee J Carter, and they were married on October 31, 1954, later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on May 1, 1983.
In 1969, Fred moved his small family to Utah to start a welding and heavy-equipment business with his brother-in-law where he worked until retirement years later. During retirement, one of his favorite things included frequent trips to Disneyland with his grand babies. And if anyone is listening, “Bring back Bear country.”
Freddie is survived by his children, Freddie Allen Campbell Jr. (Lara), KeLee Campbell Eyre (Pat), Tracee Campbell Randall (Jeff), a brother Dave Braunecker, 10 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren. Fred is preceded in death by his sweet wife of 67 years Beverlee, Sister Jeanie, and Brother Richard (Dick).
Thank you to all who knew Fred, for your friendship, love and support, especially during the last few months of his life. The love shown has brought much peace and comfort to him and his family.
