Garrett passed away unexpectedly the afternoon of February 23, 2023. He is survived by his parents, Thad and Christie (Pryor) Henderson, his grandmother, Nora (Mason) Grierson, and his 6 older siblings; Marshall Henderson (Hina Roofi), Clancey Henderson (Sarah Gee), Clell Henderson, Jeremiah Henderson, Kayla Yalacki (Edward Yalacki), Lauren Driskill (Patrick Driskill). Though he didn’t have children of his own he was a beloved son, brother and uncle to many nieces and nephews. As an uncle, he taught his nieces and nephews the importance of history. He had an insatiable thirst for the knowledge of history and loved to share it. He was always willing to play with his many nieces and nephews. He showed them the exciting world of video games and not taking life too seriously.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faithfully served a Service Mission for the Church in Minot, North Dakota in 2019. He had the most loving Christ-like attitude and loved to serve others. He had a most compassionate heart and a willingness to serve others.
Garrett’s last wish was to be able to help others by becoming an organ and tissue donor. His wish was fulfilled. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Garrett’s funeral will be held in person and will be steaming via YouTube Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rick’s Creek chapel, 1475 N 50 E Centerville, UT.
