Gary Duane Green

BOUNTIFUL, UT – Gary Duane Green, 68, passed away March 11, 2018 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful following a brief illness.  Gary was born February 19, 1949 in Ogden, Utah, the oldest son of Clifton B. Green and Pauline McClellan Green. 

He lived with his family in Ogden, Monticello, Roy, and Bountiful, Utah.

He was a baptized member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was proud of achieving the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America.  He was a participant in TURN Community Services and a resident of the Bountiful Group Program, due to an accident at birth.  The family expresses their gratitude to TURN Services, particularly to Lars Medley, Gary’s coordinator, for kind and excellent service over the years.

Gary loved to work.  He enjoyed his job at Zero Manufacturing and his job coaches from the Pathways Program at PARC.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Surviving are his siblings, Janice (Grant Mortensen), Sheryl (Craig Dearden), Val (Jan) Green, Vance Green, and David (Susan) Green.

A brief graveside service and interment will be held at Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah on March 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
