Gary Kennedy

Gary Kennedy passed away on January 9, 2019 at home holding his sweetheart's hand.  Gary was born September 14, 1936 in Ogden, Utah. Gary was a pressman printer most of his life.  Gary loved steam locomotives, was a member of the NRHS Promontory Chapter and delivered rocket motors to the Kennedy Space Center.  Most of all, Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed.  He loved everyone and would help anyone in need. 

Gary is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita Kennedy; brother Tom (Nila) Butterfield; sons Steve (Becky) Kennedy, Russ Kennedy, Jon (Melodie) Kennedy; daughters Laurie (Mike) Evans, Penny Holmberg, Becky (Ken) Hill, Vicki Close and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Gary was preceded in death by his son Ron Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Woods Cross 5th Ward, 2064 South 800 West Woods Cross, Utah 84087.  Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 am and the funeral will follow at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
