Gary Marchant

Biography

Surrounded by his family, Gary Muir Marchant passed from this world late Saturday night, June 29th, due to complications to diabetes at the age of 42. Born March 21, 1971, Gary became interested in sports at a young age, which lead to a competitive nature and a career in refereeing baseball and basketball at many levels. Some of his great loves were playing with his nieces and nephews, driving truck and technology of all kinds.

Gary was survived by his parents, Richard and Joan Marchant, sisters Nancy Pehrson (Dave) and Kimberly Budd (Zadok), brothers Rodney (Becky), Kent, and Carl, his daughter Sidney Rae Marchant, 14 nieces and nephews, 3 great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. A graveside service and dedication of grave will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in the Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
