Gary Earl Patterson

Gary Earl Patterson born January 16, 1944, passed away May 21, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by family after battling health issues for over a decade. 
Gary loved life and lived it to the fullest. His greatest accomplishment was raising his seven children with the love of his life, Georgia. He enjoyed coaching his kids in sports, teaching them the importance of working hard and staying true to their word.
He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia under the direction of President Bruce R. McConkie. His faith never wavered.
Gary’s greatest professional accomplishments was working at Winchell’s Donuts in Logan, Utah, his family-owned business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex Patterson and Darlene (Malan) Patterson and sister. 
He is survived by his wife Georgia and seven children, Daniel (Candice), Gary (Lorrine), Lillian, Bill (Staci), Andrea (Ben), Candis, Sterling (Melissa), 22 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his 5 siblings.
The family is grateful for the hospice care by Cascade Springs and the love from his neighborhood family.
The viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Providence Cemetery, 925 River Heights Blvd, River Heights, UT 84321.
