Gary Lloyd Pedersen

Gary Lloyd Pedersen, 84, past away in Mesa, Arizona, on January 30, 2024. 

Gary was born November 26, 1939, in North Salt Lake, Utah, to Edward Franklin Pedersen and Eva Beatrice Lloyd. He married Alene Beers June 19, 1959, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple and raised their family in Bountiful, Utah. She preceded him in death in 1994, and he later married Carol Bateman in 2018, in Mesa, Arizona.

Gary was an entrepreneur at heart and was full of many business ideas. He loved to interact with people and to travel the world. He visited many different countries and was always looking forward to the next adventure. He was an active lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held various positions of responsibility. He touched many people’s lives and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, and children, Eric B. Pedersen (Vikki), Kay Walker (Terry), Vaughn G. Pedersen, Carol Lee Edens, Lynette Durovic (Miki), Gary Allan Pedersen (Amy), 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one sister, Janet Crouch. 

We would like to acknowledge Carol and her children Bobbi-Jo Debord (Torrey Hall), Stacy Brudos (Kevin), Stephanie Rice (Gary) and thank them for the tender love and care they showed to Gary over the past 5 years.  

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah., where a visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:00-9:45 a.m. prior to services.  Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
