Gayle Sanford

This earthly world lost an incredible woman and the eternities gained an angel.  Gayle Sanford passed away surrounded by family on September 5, 2015 at the age of 64.  She was born November 23, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wayne Unsworth and Nadine Todd Sanford.
Our mother grew up with the value of having fun and openly expressed that in all of her relationships.  She had an angelic love for all of us and especially her grandchildren.  She never missed an opportunity to tell us "I love you to pieces!"
Throughout her life she maintained a kind and loving demeanor that gained the trust and hearts of many, who even now, are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing, love and faith.  She loved to pray, listen to music, dance, travel, play cards and games.
She traveled the world and made spiritual connections with all she came in contact with. It brought her joy to meet people and teach them about the life lessons she had learned.
Even though she is gone, she left the legacy of love and light.  We will miss her strength, support and guidance but will continue to feel her presence in our lives.
She is survived by her children: Jason (Allyson) Hale, Natalie (Keith) Lawes, Romney (Garry) Stromness, her grandchildren: Bridger, Braxton, Kennedy, Hayden, Addie, Avery, Harrison, Hudson, her brothers and sisters:  LaRene (Kim) Tovey, Darryl (Tracy) Sanford, Jolane (George) Scheib, Kerry (Evelyn) Sanford and Ryan (Karen) Sanford.  Preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Nadine Sanford.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 31st Ward, 585 E. Center Street, Bountiful.  A viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful and prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of South Davis Hospice and especially Holly Bowerman for her love and tenderness toward our mom.
