Geneva Sorenson Chambers

Our Mom passed away peacefully early Wed morning at Welcome Home in Bountiful Utah. We thank everyone at Welcome home for the great care that was given to Mom. She was born in Park City, Utah to Harold and Rachael Brim. Neva married Dale Sorenson, November 1, 1939, deceased and Charles Chambers, Jan 15, 1959, deceased. Neva is survived by her 6 children: Shirlene Fisher, James Sorenson, Diana Young, Marsha Davis, Kevin Sorenson, Kathy Barnes, and 6 step children, Douglas Chambers, Bruce Chambers, Audrey Chambers, Craig Chambers Mary Tabayoyon, and Joan Chambers. Neva has 53 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren give or take a few. Neva was active in the LDS Church. She served as Relief Society and Young Woman’s President. She worked as a professional secretary and helped build Dr. Chambers Chiropractic Practice. She worked in the Bountiful Temple, did geology and was a wonderful pianist. Mother you will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends and family may call Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
