George Blood LeSueur

June 20, 1939 — January 19, 2021

George joined his sweet wife in heaven January 19, 2021. He was born in Salt Lake City June 20, 1939 to Walter Bryant LeSueur and Vaiola Larkins Blood. He graduated from West High in 1957. George was called to serve in the Swiss-Austrian mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1959-1962. He fulfilled his military obligation in the US Army Reserves from 1962-1965. George married Renee Davis in 1964, they had three children during their 13 years of marriage. He then married Lynn Griffin, the love of his life in 1979. George started his professional life as a Computer Operator, first at Hercules Power Co, Utah Power & Light, Kennecott Copper Corp. and finished his career working for Yost Office Systems and Ikon as a Customer Relations Training Manager. He served in many capacities for The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. Including 3 Bishoprics, High Priest Group Leader, Stake Mission Presidency and Sunday School Teacher. He was President of the Utah Jaycee’s and was a Junior Chamber International Senator. George received many awards for Outstanding Service. He enjoyed speaking and was a member of the Toastmasters. But above all, George loves spending time with his family. He loved golfing and doing everything with Lynn. George really loved to make people smile and laugh. He always had a joke, one-liner, or story to tell. George was preceded in death by his father & mother, wife Lynn Griffin LeSueur, son G. Brooke LeSueur, sister Nonnie and brothers Walter & Larkin. He is survived by his son Andrew LeSueur(Tammi), daughter Fiona Viola Kahlo, brother Michael LeSueur, sister Jane Bowler, granddaughter Zurayya and grandsons Morgan, Connor and Ethan and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at his church, 790 W. 1500 S.,Woods Cross, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 11:45-12:45 prior to services.
