George Dee Weese

September 11, 1933 — September 30, 2016

George Dee Weese, one of the last true cowboys, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.  Dee was the son of Aaron Weese and Ethel Love. Born on September 11, 1933 in Tremonton, Utah, he had a wonderful childhood and from a young age loved horses, hunting, fishing and sports (this included being a true Ute fan).  Among his many talents, Dee was a champion chariot racer. He also partnered in the development of Time Saver Industrial. He loved working with the youth in the LDS church and cherished those friendships throughout his entire life.  Dee never met a stranger, and the lives of all that knew him were touched by his kindness and compassion.

Dee was sealed to his wife Barbara (Leak) Tolman in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 28, 1989.  He is survived by his wife Barbara; his children Christine Moss (Don), Steve Weese (Debbie), Brian Weese (Cathy), Randy Tolman (Jill), Cindy Morrow, Tammy Naylor (Kyle), Kristy Veale (Jim), Rod Tolman (Jennifer), and Michael Tolman (Alyson); and his 34 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

Dee’s family expresses its deep appreciation for the loving care from the staff of Country Care, Legacy House, Julie Brady and ComfortWoRx Hospice.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Canyon Estates Ward Building, located at 965 E. Oakwood Dr., Bountiful, Utah.  A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Saturday morning at the church from 9:30 -10:45 A.M. prior to the service.  Interment will be held at the Centerville City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the LDS Missionary Fund.
