Our loving wife, mom, grandma and great grandma passed away unexpectedly, but surrounded by her family on December 27, 2024. Georgette was born in Oceanside, New York to her parents, Doris and George Schreiber on August 25, 1946. While Doris was expecting Georgette, George, who served as an Airman in the U.S. Navy during WWII, lost his life in service. After Georgette was born, her mother met Charles Neaman who fell deeply in love with both Georgette and Doris and they were married and adopted her. She is the oldest of five children, Kathy (Bryson), Chuck, Sandie (Tillotson) and Donna (Dempsey).Georgette met her eternal companion, Philip, while he was Elder Terrill serving as a missionary in New York, where her dad, Charles was serving as Bishop. They kept in touch, and while attending BYU, they fell in love and were married in the Logan, Utah Temple on December 9, 1966.
Shortly after their marriage, Phil fulfilled his obligation to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.
She was expecting while he was serving, and Scott was born. After Phil completed his service, Scott was soon joined by Brian, Doug, Jeremy, Alese, Mike and Laura. She and Phil taught and raised all seven of their children and each of them love their parents very much. Her family grew through marriage, Scott and Barbara, Brian and Melinda, Doug and Tracie, Jeremy and Michelle, Alese and Allan (Amarel), and Laura and Mark (Dyson) added 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren to the Terrill family.
Georgette was a New Yorker to the core, possessing the gift of sarcasm - a trait she passed on to the rest of her family. She always told you exactly how she felt, and she was always genuine. She was a teacher who worked with special needs children of all ages in the Davis School District. Her favorite church calling was being the Ward Librarian. The library and its contents were never as organized and accounted for as they were under her watchful eye. She loved putting together 1000-piece puzzles, gardening her flowers and vegetables, and doing genealogy work. She is responsible for countless people receiving their temple blessings. We know there was a large gathering of these family members on the other side of the veil to welcome her, along with her parents, George, Doris and Charles.
